HullBID will not use your data for any marketing purposes unrelated to these Awards unless you give us prior consent.

The Awards are free to enter by business owners/workers, colleagues working within the same business, and customers. By submitting this form you confirm that all of the details are correct to the best of your knowledge and believe that no pertinent information has been withheld.
Entries can only be accepted that reference businesses whose base, or a substantial proportion of business, is based within the Hull Business Improvement District. Details of the BID area can be found at https://www.hullbid.co.uk/pages/map
Businesses and organisations (public and private sector) can enter in more than one category, providing that the specific application criteria are fulfilled. Separate and bespoke applications should be made for each Award.
Entries must be received no later than 5pm Friday 20th January 2025. No liability for entries lost or delayed in transmission will be accepted. HullBID will not acknowledge receipt of entry forms, it is up to the supplier to contact HullBID with a request.
Entrants may supply financial information at their own discretion if it is felt the entry will be enhanced. Entrants may be requested to make available whatever additional relevant information is required by the judges to assist them in reaching a decision.
All entrants must declare whether they, or the business they nominate, are/could be involved in any dispute or judgement that could in any way significantly interfere with the proper conduct or reputation of the organisers of the awards (HullBID).
Sponsors are not permitted to enter the category which they are sponsoring but are able to enter any other category. Other sponsors unrelated to a category may submit nomination/s.
The judges reserve the right to merge or split/move entries to different categories if the criteria isn’t met or if the level of entrants warrants this.
You agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the competition and abide by the judges’ decision on all matters relating to the awards.
The event organisers reserve the right to change judging deadlines should circumstances necessitate.
The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into before or after judging. Please note that HullBID reserves the right to overrule the judges’ decision, should it be deemed necessary.
All information received from entrants will be strictly confidential. After the closing date our judging panel will complete a shortlist of three finalists for each category and jointly decide upon overall winners. The shortlisted candidates will be provided with 4 complimentary tickets to the event .
HullBID reserves the right to publicise sponsor details and details of businesses/organisations that have been entered pre and post Awards (including the names of winners or nominees) and use winning entries in press releases and published case histories. Accordingly, it is a condition of entry that HullBID Award participants will cooperate with the media in relation to any such publication or HullBID Awards marketing material which may also include the use of photographs.
Awards winners may refer to the HullBID Awards in their own publicity material, refraining from using any comments which may be regarded as offensive, obscene, derogatory in nature or defamatory to any third party. HullBID, at its discretion, may provide instructions as to how Awards winners may display any Awards or marketing material, which the winners and entrants agree to comply with.
Awards along with tickets to the Awards ceremony are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
HullBID reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time to comply with law or meet its changing business requirements without notice to you. Any updates or amendments will be published on the applicable website.
Under no circumstances shall HullBID be liable to those providing nominations nor the organisation being represented for any of the following, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise: any indirect or consequential losses, loss of revenue or anticipated revenue, loss of savings or anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, or loss of profits or anticipated profits. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or restrict HullBID’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from the negligence of HullBID
